Core Qualifications

Licensure & Certification:

Active PMHNP license in Minnesota.
Board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or equivalent).

Clinical Experience:
At least 2–3 years of post-certification practice in psychiatric/mental health settings.
Experience across diverse populations (adults, adolescents, or specialty areas relevant to your program).

Practice Setting

Works in a psychiatric outpatient clinic, inpatient unit, or integrated behavioral health setting where I can meet my program’s required patient encounters. My required patient encounters are 80; 40 children and adolescents, and 40 adults and the elderly.

Has access to diagnostic and treatment modalities (psychotherapy, medication management, crisis intervention).

Teaching & Mentorship Skills

Willingness to teach and provide constructive feedback.
Familiarity with PMHNP student learning objectives and clinical hour documentation.
Ability to model evidence-based practice and ethical decision-making.

Availability & Logistics

Can commit to your rotation dates: February 23, 2025 – May 10th, 2026.
Comfortable with supervising telehealth encounters if your program allows.
Has time for weekly check-ins and case discussions.
