Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting 11/17/2025. This high-acuity, fast-paced urgent care setting requires a provider comfortable with managing a variety of acute conditions, reading EKGs and X-rays, and utilizing on-site lab capabilities. The ideal candidate will have prior emergency medicine experience and be proficient in treating urgent and same-day visits, including sore throats, upper respiratory symptoms, earaches, coughs, and back pain. Currently, appointments are 15 minutes long, transitioning to 20 minutes in November. The multi-specialty clinic is conveniently located just one mile from the nearest ED, and the EMR system in use is Epic.
