Position Description

Nurse Practitioner – NICU/Pediatrics

Location: Chico, California

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Full-Time

Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $114,000 – $186,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care, assessment, and management of NICU/Pediatric patients
Perform physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, and clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Act as a resource for nursing staff and contribute to a patient-centered care model
Participate in advanced procedures as needed (intubation, umbilical line placement preferred)

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program
Current RN and NP license in California
NP Furnishing License (or within 3 months of hire)
DEA (or proof of application within 3 months)
AHA BLS certification
Meets CMS billing criteria
Credentialing eligible
NRP & PALS (within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric acute care and/or NICU experience
Experience with neonatal procedures (intubation, umbilical lines)
National PNP Certification
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
