Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine

Barton Associates is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in California. This opportunity offers night shift coverage starting 08/04/2025, for an initial contract of 66 days, with potential for extension. The assignment involves working 10-hour shifts from 11 PM to 9 AM, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both the regular Emergency Department and the Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME) unit, managing 3-4 low acuity patients per hour. Responsibilities include handling ankle sprains, stitches, wrist injuries, major joint issues, complex laceration repairs, neonatal and pediatric assessments, and X-ray interpretation.
